I got to wondering recently, why haven’t we asked the deck to answer some of life’s unanswerable questions? For instance, is luck real? Is jade lucky? Can sage actually protect me? Where do playing cards come from? Which came first: playing cards or tarot? Which was used for divination first? Where did that practice begin?
