Spirituality in Sin City

The same day that I announced my 30-day challenge here, while filming two videos, my cell phone died. I finally pushed it as far as it could go. The “other files” that accumulate through daily use – the ones you can’t delete – had taken over. I didn’t want to pause the challenge, but I had to… and, as one who believes things happen for a reason, I decided the forced interruption happened to make me change up my daily routine and what exactly I am sharing with the world (again).

Monday to Friday mornings at 7:07 AM, I will be live on YouTube sharing scripture(s), spiritual texts, fun facts on tarot and playing cards history… and taking questions from the public to help decide what information to search for next. Unlike many who simply state their conclusions on each topic, I will show you the documents – the actual proof that exists. In addition, I will be working on my art project(s) while we chat to give you a peek into my processes. I will create altered playing cards, collage art, line drawings, and more while we discuss religion, spirituality, and other inspiring quotes.

Today I revealed the historic fun facts about playing cards and tarot cards which led to my tarot poker research. Watch for a peek at the Biblia Pauperum (aka the Pauper’s Bible), a discussion about the potential origins of the first tarot deck ever, and to learn how the Catholic Church once promoted the lottery and recommended a dice game as a spiritual exercise (as described in Roll the Bones: The History of Gambling).
