Wondering what the “18b” stands for? It is because, officially, the Las Vegas Arts District is eighteen blocks large. Of course, many would say the arts district now spans much further thanks to the fact that Symphony Park, Container Park, and the Fremont East District have spread the spirit of the neighborhood all the way to the Fremont Street Experience and the iconic casinos alongside it.
The most important thing to know is there are amazing shops and restaurants on both sides of Charleston Boulevard. Heading North on Las Vegas Boulevard, simply hang a left onto Main Street when it V’s off near the Stratosphere. The Downtown Vegas Arts District officially starts a few blocks down on Main Street. You will see the welcome sign! Also, it is usually easier to find parking on this end of the neighborhood on First Friday… and this video shows the short walk you can enjoy to get there.
On Main Street, you will find antique, vintage, and locally owned retail shops, breweries, local restaurants, art galleries, and more. To visit the Arts Factory (a building full of artist studios), continue straight on Main Street. Turn right on Charleston Blvd. (you will see the rainbow covered building already) and take the first left on Art Way to find parking.

Where should we distribute free tarot readings next? Leave a comment. Suggestions are appreciated!
