Meet the MY POKER GAME Journal

By

Surprise! I published a book – a poker journal. I have experimented with multiple study methods for improving my poker game, but I couldn’t find a great way to take notes on the information I was trying to absorb. I have long enjoyed the act of taking notes on paper and now know there is research that shows it enhances the learning process. So, I created something that can empower improvement of skills for those who want to learn poker while also being a fun way to preserve poker memories for those who already know the game.

The My Poker Game Journal has three sections:

  • 75 pages of written and visual prompts to record your thoughts (or research) on every topic about which a poker player should be opinionated.
  • 20 Memorable Hands – “blank” page layouts for recording information and analyzing hands played in real life.
  • 74 Playable Hands – No Limit Hold’em pre-flop scenarios to visualize how you would play under the circumstances described.

Click here to check out my 275-page poker journal if you’re looking for a great dad gift or a self-guided method for learning Texas Hold’em.

For those who want additional opportunities to analyze poker hands on paper, the Memorable Hands and Playable Hands will be available as separate journals and/or PDF downloads. The first Memorable Hands Poker Journal is now live on Amazon and I will soon offer the opportunity to vote on the cover art for the next edition via Instagram. The first paperback Playable Hands book is scheduled for publication in September 2023 and two PDF digital downloads with 100 Playable Hands each are now available in my Etsy shop. I am also offering sets which include one or more paperback journals and one or more of my digital download poker training tools. Click here to see all the options.
